Jesus offered her hope

healing, redemption;

Jesus spoke with her directly

a stained woman at the well

Christ offered her so much more

than water to quench her thirst;

God offered her salvation,

hope she had never known

Jesus offered her a way

to life, to life eternal;

God sat right down with her
