Not like the Magi
following a distant star
Saul changed forever
on the Damascus Road
Sent from the Temple
charged to kill the faithful
devoted to his mission
until his Epiphany of Light
Blinded in that instant
hearing Christ’s voice from heaven
calling him to change forever
the purpose of his life
