In the story, the cross looming
the death of our savior
taking on our sin
to set us free from death
Redeeming us with his offering
his sacrifice on the altar
choose to climb
the throne of Calvary
Changing history
all humans worthy
by the blood of the Christ
spilled on the altar
of God’s love
