Faithful Today

Needing to change my perspective
Faithful today, in all my dealings
to the calling of God
in all that I do

Unable to see the future
my days already numbered
today alone before me
each hour a sacred gift

Listening to God’s call
my task for this moment
how I can be faithful
in this time and place

Only in this able
with the Lord’s guidance
not of my own doing
but conformed to God’s plan
his loving grace
