His Way of Humility

A calling to his way of humility
learning from his example
the words of the scriptures
telling of us of his life

How Christ walked as a human
letting go of his deity
becoming a lowly servant
going to the cross in our place

Utterly humble
a slave to the master’s plan
giving his life over
that we may live again
