God descended to flesh
the babe in the manger
the carpenter in Galilee
walking the land
healing and teaching
preparing the fishermen
the disciples who would follow
Come to earth
for this morning
his work here complete
victorious, he alone
defeating sin, even death
freeing us for heaven
