From the Dust of Stars

The dust of stars
the stuff of the earth
gathered into his hands
giving us birth

Molded with his touch
the waters of the earth
with his breath
giving us birth

Clay on the potter’s wheel
in the potter’s house
made to walk the earth
giving us birth

Following our master
his plan for our lives
spreading his message of love
giving us new birth
