Not ready to say goodbye
their lives loosed from this mortal coil
going to return to our king
before we are ready for them to go
Fear in the circle, the family
when sickness, pain comes
that something will be too much to bear
guiding them from our arms
Too many years yet undone
so many memories we want to share
all happening in the timing of God
struggling that it is out of our hands
