Living in Christ’s Freedom

Not guided by the dictates of the world
the law a pale reflection
the true depth of God’s love
revealed in the Christ
the son of God
the one who came down
walking the earth as a man

He paid our price
all of our sins forgiven
going to Calvary the lamb
in servanthood to God

Dying, buried in the ground
a borrowed grave for him
Rising victorious
defeating death
sin no longer the end
we may rise at the end of our days
when we turn our lives to him

“Abundant God, we thank you for the jars of our lives

Fill the hungry with good things. Lift up the oppressed.
Watch over the stranger and comfort the lonely.
Through our gifts, may we do likewise.
In the name of Christ the Comforter, we pray. Amen”
