Give Me Words to Pray

Lord, in my struggles
trying to be true
focused on your goodness
on your plans for my life

Give me words
to join with the Spirit
prayers to you, oh God
all of my days

Speaking for me
when words will not come
comfort in your grace
in the callings to my heart

Protect me in my trials
strengthen my faith
give me words of your love
for the whole human race
