Sharing Our Wealth

Our calling from God
in the lesson of Christ
far more than just about our stuff
to share the gifts we have in life
that others may merely live

Ours as Christians
to take up our cross
to live by the commands of Christ
to act in his holy name

To love our neighbors as ourselves
to think of them as we do a brother
to reach out to all those in need
to share with each other

Sharing our wealth,
especially the good news,
that which we have that will survive
the rest of it merely to give away
as it won’t be ours when we die
