When I think of Love

So softly
the heart beats
quiet in my chest
yet I cannot sleep

Sometimes I touch you
in the night
the soft of your skin
close by my side

When I think of love
I think of you
the smell of your hair
the soft of your perfume

That look in your eye
drawing me near
the warmth of embrace
all’s right in my world
