Coming Out of Prayers

Wondering, half a world away
what they must be going through
coming out of prayers
into the square
into the street
the chaos of the madman
Wanting their freedom
willing to die
casting off repression
starting to fly
Standing against the tyrant
the yoke of oppression
yearning to breathe freedom
through their whole nation
the chains stripped away
