What will the night hold

Fear for the innocents
wanting to be free
under the boot of the tyrant
not at liberty
What must they think
in their own bed
are we safe in our sleep
or will there be a knock
abduction in the night
are their loved ones safe
in their own homes
Will the henchmen come
to take them away
for standing up for freedom
the light of a new day
