Faded threads and Bold ones

The threads of the body
the picture of Christ
the faded threads and bold ones
adding texture and light
shadows and darkness
giving way to the bright
offering ourselves fully
that others may come to know Jesus
that they may have new life
joining their threads to the others
in the tapestry of faith
offering ourselves fully
in the response to God’s grace
