Like Solomon’s Prayer

Discernment,
God’s plan for our lives
coming in God’s time
not the time of man

Like Solomon’s prayer
wisdom, eyes to see
a heart open
to your calling for me

A gift of God
an answer to fervent prayer
offering new eyes
to see his will for our lives

Not in our time
in the time of God
just needing to be patience
waiting on the Lord
