To dream heroic dreams

Not stuck in our current state
bound by the dust, decay
wanting a brighter day
To dream heroic dreams
come what may
fighting to rise above
our dust, our clay
With God as our compass
holding onto liberty,
with justice, compassion
seeking a brighter tomorrow
in dreams of America
