the places where we are blind

Teach us Lord,
give us new eyes to see
the places where we are blind
where we don’t believe
peel off the bandages
the comfort, complacent
tear of the scars
so we may have real healing
give us vision, that we may see
what we must change
the rot that is within
give us courage
to follow your ways
help us to turn
for follow you each day
