Practicing Patience

Deep calm within me
wash over my spirit
Holy Spirit take over
call me deep within

Following the Christ
who forgave us on the cross
knowing my sin
let go of the other
all who set me off

Release what holds us
let go of control
practicing patience ever
our hope within the Lord
