The seed bursting open

The joy evident,
overflowing, a fountain
the seed that was planted
bursting wide open

God’s patience ever
just at the right time
God’s message planted
in your heart and mine

God tends the soil
the flesh of our hearts
waiting till we are ready
to turn us around

The message planted
the seed of God’s love
splitting us asunder
our lives to the sun

Shoots growing
up toward our God
lives firmly
held in God’s arms
