The soil of their hearts

ours to tend the garden
to foster the preparing
the soil for the seed
their hearts for the planting

through our witness
the example of our lives
sharing with their neighbors
the gift of our hearts

preparing their soil
ready to embrace the seed
the message of creation
of the gospel, to believe

the soil of their hearts
gathering the seed
growing in God’s time alone
if we trust and believe
