Sticky with my clay

Seeing God in new ways
as the potter in his shop
our clay upon the wheel
turning to the touch of God

Pulled to the center, upward
shaped by his loving touch
giving to the potter
to be a vessel of his love

Sticky with my clay
God working my flesh
turning me to him
away from the world

Submitting to the touch
to the hand of God
feeling his guidance
sure of his love
