You are highly favored

The strange blessing of the angels

coming to Mary, as if in a dream

saying you are highly favored

What a wonder that must have been

how fear must have been within her

that God would come to visit

that she would be the one chosen

The seed of the Messiah

the One who had been prophesied

that she would be the one to carry

the hope for all mankind
