The words of accusation
of judgment, blasphemy
what would they have been
in color
in movement, in power
Daggers of words
in crimson, in scarlet
shouts in the text
even if in silence
The words accusing Jesus
fast, dramatic movement
shudders on the web
daggers through the fabric

when they are wearing a
brain cap,
to do EEG measurements,
don’t always
have the visual cortex
light up
when they see something
but sometimes
have the auditory cortex
light up,
as if they are hearing the
image, the colors.
