Sacred, solemn words
of the ritual meal
ancient, known by the people
changed by the Master
in the breaking of the bread
sharing this cup, in
remembrance
remembering not the
Passover,
the Spirit coming, in the
night,
the freedom from slavery
remembering, inside, instead
the loving sacrifice
his body, his blood,
his sacrifice for us
remembering the gift
of the Lamb of God
