The
hired hands
the
thief on the cross
those
who could not see
mocking
our King
the
Living God
the
Lamb upon the altar
Christ
on the cross
They
could not see
they
did not believe
the
fulfillment of the Word
God’s
promise to us
Christ
came to save
but
they denied His name
just
as had been foretold
He
took on our sin
the
stain of our shame
becoming
the sacrifice
called
now to walk in
the
way of the Lord
Dying
that we may live
humble,
to the cross
