the risen Word
alive with God
the word become
the Word, alive,
our Lord, Immanuel
the word, the Law,
took on flesh
walking here with us
offering the same gift yet
the Spirit in our hearts
Christ lights our path
a lamp unto our feet
the written Word inscribed
dwelling on our hearts.
