You are my life

You ask the same question
as You asked Your first disciples,
that moment when You asked them,
“who do you say I am?”

the same challenge to us
though we know You have risen
who do we believe
You are, Jesus?

You are my brother
You are Jesus
the son of the carpenter
Mary’s boy

You are Christ
You are eternal
the Messiah come to earth
God, Immanuel

You are my Master
You are my Shepherd
my hope on the journey
my walk of faith

You are the Son
of God eternal
You died to save me
from my brokenness

You are my life
my hope for tomorrow
able to face my challenges
because You Live!
