I can understand

why they leave the churches

I left for similar reasons

back in my youth

hypocrites, sinners

imposters in charge

too many in power

for earthy desires

too hurt, too busy

to enter, to worship

to forgive one another

too many hurting

wandering in the world

the churches empty

not admitting their brokenness

needing one another

offering love
