Memory may
fail me
but Lord help
me to be authentic
my history
real
not wrapped
in sugar
honest
before You
when I come
to You in prayer
as I live
out my life
May the
truth be told
my need for
You completely
Your plan
for my life
and the
mess I have made of it
so others
may see You
how You
claimed me
that others
may see Christ
I am a
Christian, I am saved
only
because You loved me
completely,
truly,
more than I
could ever say
love
without merit
that I may
love, truly,
only
because You loved me first
You love me
without condition
whatever I
may do
loving me,
forgiving me
though I
have hurt You
though I
sent You to the cross
Lord, wash
me with Your blood
make me
whole once more
