The memory of Christ
what He did in his life
what He gave to us
in his sacrifice
his faithfulness
in submitting to God
going to the cross
to fulfill the law, prophecy
to remove our stain, our
death
He leads us to victory
in the way that leads to
light
Listening carefully
God still speaking to us
his Spirit moving within us
speaking in the whisper of
the wind
the Spirit guiding our feet
ever to go as we are led
to be Christ’s hands and
feet
his presence here and now
Going as we are called
to be salt of the earth
beacons of his light
