More than His Words – v2

More than the words
written and treasured
the words of the reformed apostle,
shared with Jew and gentile,
were the testimony, the witness
of the living saint

Standing in the pulpit
this summer Sunday
Sharing a life of faith
woven with Paul’s own
lessons for us all
in faith and service

More than his words
the testimony, this witness
sharing God’s love
and how much he was given
sharing a life of faith
of serving the Kingdom

Standing in the pulpit
this summer Sunday
a living saint, faithful,
sharing God’s message
Life everlasting
through the gate of Christ
