Naked before Jesus – v3

We will stand naked,
naked before Jesus,
before His judgment seat
Our life before Him
the pages will be open
all the things we held onto
choices we made in our walk
what we held as treasure

Nothing will remain of them
not our gold, our wealth,
not the grain in our silos
nothing else will be left
Just our feet of clay
God’s Spirit within us
whether we chose the Way

Stripped, naked, before our Savior,
the Lamb upon the throne,
how we walked in this life
at the moment of judgment
Did we follow His example
not our love of money
our relationship, our love
What we do for others
God’s light in this troubled world
