afraid of the silence
the true aloneness
needing boundaries
the noise of other people
even in silence
desiring quiet
a peace within me
within my own thoughts
and in talking with God
needing the noise
the presence of others
others beside me
on the journey;
afraid of the silence
true aloneness
held within
in real quietude.
