The faith of the farmer – v3

A truth for us to remember
for the promises fulfilled
for the time of waiting
for the answer to be revealed
The faith of the farmer
a lifetime of waiting
of patiently waiting
for the change of the season,
trusting God in the waiting
in being faithful
in planting, in tending
in watering the fields
in waiting on God for growth
thankful even in the waiting
in the trying times
for the harvest to come
