Christ’s washing of their feet
and the sharing of the bread,
the cup that He drank of
as He was lifted up
Life came to us
as He gave up His life;
Death slipped away
as He entered the grave
We are reborn, given life,
as He rose from the tomb;
A place is being made for us
as He sits on His throne
