We struggle, we journey
sometimes without rest;
We fall asleep, fitful,
with our worries, our
regrets.
In the night of the soul
the hour of our anguish
God gives us rest
God shares His grace.
God comes down
and walks beside us;
We feel the presence
of God’s peace within.
God comes to us
in our night of the soul
offering us promise
of a future untold.
