failing to follow, to be faithful
worshiping
other gods
needing
a reminder
of
the covenant, the promise,
they
made in the desert
to
stay faithful to God
for
God was ever faithful
to
the people the tribes,
the
descendants of Abraham,
of
Isaac, of Jacob, Israel
throughout
the generations
even
when they worshiped other gods
when
they strayed from Him
