Christ is our Intercessor,
our Advocate before God
pleading our case, our
cries,
our prayers before the
Lord;
what we ask, what we pray,
if offered up to God
In the chambers of our hearts
Christ is preparing
a living house of prayer
Captured not in the brick
and mortar
on the lintels, the door
frames
the temple of our lives
instead
painted by His blood
in worship ever praising,
raising our prayers up to
God
