Her Hands

Long slender fingers
clutched the bow
caressed the cello

Fingers like spiders
walked gingerly
down the neck
Shuddered on the lines
to urge the quiver of the song
from the wood

Elongated notes
vibrate of the wire
a fog of sound
crafted by
knowing hands
