With Life Giving Water

The dry soil gave way
allowing the perennials
to push up to through
when life giving water
was added to the dry ground
The garden became green
in a matter of hours,
as the waters found the shoots
hidden under the dirt
rising into the air,
toward the light
with the blessing
of life giving waters
