Puddles on the Walk

The sun holding sway, warming, heating
puddles on the walkway
where the snow had just been
building warming, the weather changing
as it is want to do, winter here
but spring in the air
even if for a few minutes
a hint in the puddles on the walk
the sun warming the snow
