His Image Reflected

Melted, refined, the excess burned away
walking through the fires
made smooth, reflections,
his image reflected in us.
Not merely reflected though,
not this alone
for he is within us too,
his spirit rising to the surface
reflected outward, shining through us
shining into the darkness
