Changing His World

In his witness, his testimony of his acts
his works, his perseverance, his love
and his caring, he changed himself,
he changed the life of this precious child
he lifted up this family,
those whose lives have touched this child’s own
proving themselves worthy
vessels to share Christ’s love
out into the world,
starting from within themselves
accepting a sacred trust
changing his world for the better
and, in so doing, making a difference
far greater than this
