Grapes on the Vine

The children in our congregation,
in the community, the world
the grapes of the vine,
the fruit of the work of the gardener
the vine and its branches
there for the feeding, the nourishing
the protecting, the growth of the fruit
We all, all part of the vine
connected, sharing, watching over them
the children, the fruit for the harvest
for the kingdom yet to come
