God Calms the Storms

The still waters, the green pastures
God calms the storms, the winds,
the seas, crashing into our lives
troubles of the world, of our making
Rest for God’s people
offered in commandment
out of love, offering us all peace
Trust in the Lord, for he is good
his love endures forever
He pursues us, longing for our hearts
believing in us,
may we believe in his goodness
His protection even in the shadows
