In the silent beating
God speaks
in the still of our hearts
A voice calling
our lives set apart
in the still of our hearts
When we are receptive, waiting
eager for his urgings, guiding us
in the still of our hearts
A servant listening
to the calling from above
heard ever, in the still of our hearts
