Within His Hands

This priest, unlike the others
his life within his hands
An offering of himself
Choosing, this pure lamb
offered, to the father’s will
upon the altar of the cross

An offering for our sin
one time and for all
for the whole world
and for all time
Our salvation in his hands
offered for us to God
