Overwhelmed by Joy

A prayer, a wish,
at the start of the year
that we would be overwhelmed
with joy, love,
the assurance of God
Like the Magi,
falling to our knees

Feeling, sensing,
the presence of the Lord
awareness of our place,
our part in his holy plan
Spreading the good news,
the grace of God for all
to the ends of the earth,
as we are all called to share
