Returning in the Garden

Like in the desert
Christ alone
this time the disciples
had fallen asleep

The devil tempting
once again offering
a way for Christ
to avoid his calling

Christ again
showing his faithfulness,
his servanthood;
accepting the father’s will
taking the cup to his lips
